When I say I was not your typical forex trader, that’s an understatement! The truth is my life’s ambition was taking me along a completely different path. I was a working actor. I moved to LA from New York, and started doing the right of passage thing every actor does. Wait tables at a restaurant and attend every audition possible to get that big break. Now I got work, but it was very small time stuff, nothing that was getting me anywhere. If you think your frustrated with life, not having money and all sorts, then you should have a gone a day in my shoes. Every day I just felt like giving up. I started thinking if this is something that I love, then why is it that every day I am more and more resistant to the hustle of being successful in this industry.

Anyway… so I get a call from my agent and she has an audition for me. It was for a movie that would be set in the financial district of London, although they were going to shoot everything in LA. It wasn’t the lead, but the character I was auditioning for was an integral part of the film. The character was an investment banker, working in the city. It was showing the lifestyle, the pressure of dealing with large sums of cash and the psychology of the trader. Now being the method actor, I started doing research into this industry.
