Here’s a true story…

A while back I talked with a friend of mine who is a millionaire. No kidding. And I was encouraging him to look at getting into the currency markets for the great profit windfall that I believe is coming in 2009. You know what he told me?

He told me he had friends that had pulled their money because the U.S. dollar was going bad. So they were just ‘keeping it safe’. He also told me that these guys managed huge funds and that there was no way possible to profit in what I said was going to make a profit.

When I Talked To Him, I Knew He Had No Clue…
It was at that point I stopped trying to convince him because I knew that he had THE WRONG information. It didn’t matter if his friends told him that and they had 3 million dollars. I told him that obviously his friends didn’t know what they were doing.

Now how could I have known that?
Well because in the currency markets you buy one currency against another so if the U.S. dollar was going bad then that meant ANOTHER CURRENCY WAS DOING GOOD! All he and his friends had to do was buy the good currency AGAINST the U.S. Dollar.

Proof positive that even having a lot of money doesn’t mean you know everything.
